Develop an all-pro quarterback’s “short” memory.

If a NFL quarterback tried to play while constantly remembering and agonizing over every intercepted pass he ever threw, he’d probably never throw another pass – intercepted or otherwise. Just behave like the all-pro quarterback and shrug it off before the next set of downs. Alright, enough with the sports metaphors. Just don’t dwell on your setbacks.

Look, you’re the only one who remembers and agonizes about your mistakes (unless you’ve surrounded yourself with people who dwell on your blunders). Constantly tell yourself life isn’t perfect – and neither are you. Achieving your personal success goals means you must admit your mistakes, learn from them, and forge forward.
